Maria Juul Hansen

I am a Senior Research Analyst at the Danish Research Institute for Economic Analysis and Modelling (DREAM).

 

I hold a PhD in Economics from University of Copenhagen (2020), and was previously a postdoc and Assistant Professor at University of Copenhagen, affiliated with Centre for Computational Economics (2020-2025).

I am an applied microeconometrician and computational economist. My research focuses on structural estimation of dynamic models of individual and household behavior, with applications in urban economics, family economics, the economics of education, and labor economics. I previously worked as a lecturer and course coordinator in the Computer Science–Economics program at the University of Copenhagen.
